REB Awards 2018

Finalist & Winner: New Office Of The Year
Finalist: Boutique Independent Of The Year – 3 Or Less Offices

Being an independent agency we thought it would be exciting to be apart of the REB Awards and so we put in our nomination for “New Office of the Year” and “Boutique Independent Of The Year – 3 Or Less Offices”. We filled in and sent off all the required paperwork and then a few months later we received notification that we were finalists in both categories.

We were absolutely over the moon and looked forward to a night out with the team and our greatest supporters.

We frocked up in black tie and looked forward to celebrating our achievement just being nominated as finalists. The REB Awards are the benchmark of success in Australian real estate. REB editor, Tim Neary, says the awards are the most sought-after business awards in the industry that recognise the best operators across several categories. He also says that the judging process to shortlist the finalists and decide on the eventual winners is both transparent and measurable.

“It includes the insights and opinions of a team of judges, ensuring the awards are fair, accurate and unbiased,” Mr Neary said. “The judging itself is a multi-step process. All submissions are delivered to a panel of respected industry professionals and business leaders for assessment.”

The panel members include Lisa Montgomery, mortgage and consumer finance specialist at Takez Consulting; Adam Franklin, CEO of Bluewire Media; Brett Spencer, chairman of Opica Group; Jeff Zulman, managing director of BBBSA Finance; Melanie Hoole, social media and digital marketer at Hoole.co; and Tony Dormer, director at Tricor ChewandDormers. The judges will score each submission across a range of criteria, with each set of criteria applicable to an awards category. Now in its sixth year, the REB Awards reflects the tenacity and resilience of Australia’s leading real estate operators and networks.

We were absolutely blown away when “WigginsKeenan Real Estate” was announced the Australian winner for “New Office of the Year” and honestly are still basking in the win. (you can check out my reaction in the video!). Justin and I have worked extremely hard to bring something different to the real estate market  – an energy of sorts, that includes great customer service to both vendors and buyers in addition to being on top of all the latest technologies. We pride ourselves on our marketing and attracting people to our brand and are very lucky to attract vendors and landlords that have the same energy as us which proves a perfect match when selling or renting their properties.

We look forward to providing a fantastic selling, buying and renting experience to all of our clients and hope that you might be our next one! So if you just want to get an idea of how much your house would sell or rent for then just get in touch as I can assure you, your experience and result will be the best in the industry!
