So with the restrictions placed on all of us while we try and flatten the curve there are no more open homes or onsite auctions. Instead we are showing buyers by appointment only and incorporating social distancing, hand sanitizer and loads of Glen20!
We are also being extremely strict with who we bring through the property, ensuring they are in a position to purchase, including having their finances pre approved and that the home is within their budget. The health of our staff, vendors and buyers is the most important thing to us.
We were also one of the first real estate agencies to offer virtual appraisals and they are proving extremely popular. So book one in!
In relation to rentals, we will also be conducting routine inspections but these will also be virtual so as not to interfere with the tenants personal space.
For new rentals that are available any prospective tenants wishing to rent will be required to send their application in first using 1form. They will then be booked in for an inspection. One of the main reasons for this is time, when doing individual inspections each person is allocated 15mins to view the property and as I’m sure you can appreciate there are only a certain amount of hours in the day so we need to ensure we are using the time effectively.
